To the creative soul, the over thinker, the self-doubter, the one whoโ€™s been told to dim your light โ€”this space is for you. Maybe youโ€™ve spent a lot of your life absorbing messages about who you should be and what you should do. Maybe you've been discouraged from embracing your full identity or from living life in a way that actually feels like you. Now, youโ€™re ready to reconnect with yourself in a way that is meaningful for you.

Iโ€™m here to walk with you on your journey.

I hold space for creatives, entrepreneurs, artists, high achievers, and anyone on a journey of self-acceptance. Iโ€™m especially passionate about supporting folks who've internalized harmful narrativesโ€”those shaped by systems not built for our sustainability and those navigating anxiety that stems from constantly having to adapt, perform, or hold it all together.

Through therapy, we can unravel those stories, explore whatโ€™s true for you, and begin to imagine and live from a place of authenticity.

  • Iโ€™m a therapist and artist whoโ€™s passionate about helping people come back to themselves and find healing through community. I believe youโ€™re the expert in your own life, so we go at your pace, and I meet you exactly where you are. I use humor when it fits, I embrace the occasional awkward moment, and I hold a space thatโ€™s non-judgmental, non-directed, and collaborative. Outside the therapy room, youโ€™ll find me making music, dancing around my apartment, cultivating spaces for community connection, or recharging somewhere quiet with my partner.

  • As a queer Black woman, I hold a deep understanding of what it means to move through the world with intersecting identities: the weight, the beauty, and the complexity of it all. I know what it feels like to be shaped by systems that try to define who we are, while still choosing to root into joy, community, and self-trust. That lived experience shapes how I show up in this work: with care, with curiosity, and with a commitment to honoring the full truth of who you are.

My care is rooted in a liberation-based framework, one that centers your power, your joy, and your right to heal in ways that feel authentic to you. I work with Black and brown folks, queer and trans communities, disabled folks, and those living at the intersections of these identities. This approach means shining a light and shifting away from self-blame on systemic issues while creating space to nurture your wholeness. It means honoring the wisdom in your body and your story. In session, this looks like meeting you exactly where you are without the pressure to โ€œfixโ€ anything, holding space for your pain, your rage, your joy, and simply being present with whatever youโ€™re carrying. I tailor each session to what you want, whether thatโ€™s creating space for deep processing, sharing practical strategies, or exploring creative and somatic practices. Weโ€™ll also work together to connect you with resources, support systems, and community spaces that can support you beyond our sessions.

Self-Reclamation for BIPOC individuals

As a Black woman, I understand the pressure we put on ourselves and that society has put on BIPOC folks to be perfect and have it all together. The pressure to be perfect, to always hold it together, to be everything for everyone. And that can be so draining. Over time, that drive to achieve, to prove, to survive can lead to burnout, disconnection, and a deep sense of not knowing who you are beneath all the roles and responsibilities.

You donโ€™t have to carry all of that here. This space is not about performing, fixing, or proving. Itโ€™s a space for you to exhale. To be messy, unsure, quiet, loud, tired, and whatever you need to be. Together, weโ€™ll explore who you are underneath the pressure and the roles, and help you come back to yourself. Not the version other people told you to be, but the version you get to define on your own terms.

In our work, I donโ€™t give you answers. I support you in finding your own. You get to decide what joy, rest, success, and fulfillment look like for you. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your voice, your confidence, your sense of self, and your right to choose a life that feels good for you.

Expressive Arts

Sometimes, talk therapy may not be enough โ€“ and that is okay. In our work together, I welcome the full spectrum of expression by incorporating the arts into the healing process. Whether itโ€™s through visual art, music, writing, movement, or poetry, I invite you to explore creative practices that feel natural and affirming for you. In conjunction with talk therapy, these outlets can help us access emotions, memories, and insights that may be hard to name aloud, offering a gentler and more expansive path toward healing. You donโ€™t have to be an โ€œartistโ€ to benefitโ€”this is about tapping into your inner world in ways that feel freeing, playful, and personal.

Together, weโ€™ll co-create a space where the arts becomes a companion in your journey toward full expression.

Radical Self-Love and Acceptance

You are already worthyโ€”right now, as you are. I believe that healing begins with honoring that truth, even if itโ€™s hard to fully embrace. If youโ€™re exploring who you are, unlearning harmful messages, or longing to feel more at home in yourself, I offer a space of curiosity, compassion, and care. Here, we center radical self-love as a liberating practice that can sustain and support you. Weโ€™ll move at your pace, unpack the stories that have shaped your self-perception, and nurture a relationship with yourself that feels empowering and affirming. You deserve a space where you donโ€™t have to perform or prove your worth, you can just be, explore, and evolve.

Multicultural Issues

Your lived experience mattersโ€”and so do the identities you hold. In our work, I recognize that we don't exist in a vacuum. The weight of racism, colorism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, and other systemic forces can deeply affect how we feel, think, and relate to ourselves and others.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, isolated, or pressured to fit into norms that donโ€™t reflect who you truly are.

In our space, I invite you to exhaleโ€”to bring your whole self, including the cultural wisdom, rituals, and practices that have shaped you.

Therapy doesnโ€™t have to feel like something separate from your community, spirituality, or identityโ€”it can be a space where all of that is not only welcome, but celebrated.

Together, weโ€™ll explore how your intersecting identities have impacted your journey, and also how they can be sources of strength, resilience, and belonging. We will cultivate a therapeutic experience where you feel seen, honored, and empowered to reconnect with the fullness of who you are.

My Specialties

  • I deeply believe that you are the expert of your own experience. In our work together, I use a non-directive, person-centered approach that allows space for your voice, needs, and values to lead the way. Rather than telling you what to do, I walk beside youโ€”offering support, reflection, and care as you explore what healing looks like for you. This approach is grounded in mutual respect and trust, and itโ€™s about honoring your pace and your process. We collaborate on what feels right in the moment, and I hold space for your growth with openness and compassion.

  • Therapy can be a radical act of resistance, especially when it becomes a space where youโ€™re free to show up as your full self. In my practice, liberation-based therapy centers social justice and the realities of the systems that impact our mental health. This includes acknowledging how oppression, racism, ableism, and other forms of systemic harm show up in our daily lives. Together, we work to unpack these experiences and move toward healing that feels empowering and affirming. This space is one of possibilityโ€”a place where freedom, safety, and authenticity are prioritized.

As a queer Black woman, I hold a deep understanding of what it means to move through the world with intersecting identities: the weight, the beauty, and the complexity of it all. I know what it feels like to be shaped by systems that try to define who we are, while still choosing to root into joy, community, and self-trust. I tailor each session to what you want, whether thatโ€™s creating space for deep processing, sharing practical strategies, or exploring creative and somatic practices. Weโ€™ll also work together to connect you with resources, support systems, and community spaces that can support you beyond our sessions.

  • We often live from the neck up, especially when weโ€™ve experienced trauma, stress, or anxiety. Somatic practices invite you to gently reconnect with your bodyโ€”to notice sensations, practice grounding, and begin to listen to what your body is telling you. This work supports you in becoming more present and regulated, helping you shift from survival mode into a space of deeper embodiment and ease. Whether we explore breath-work, mindful movement, or simply tune into sensation, weโ€™ll take a compassionate approach to building safety and awareness from within.

  • The relationship we build in therapy is an active part of the healing process. Relational-cultural therapy emphasizes the importance of connection, mutual empathy, and authenticity. In this space, we explore how past and present relationships have shaped your sense of self, and how relational patterns may be influencing your life today. Our connection becomes a place to practice showing up fully and being seen, respected, and heard. Healing can happen through relationship, and together weโ€™ll work to cultivate a space that feels grounding, empowering, and real.

  • You deserve to be met with respect, care, and celebration of who you are. I provide affirming care for folks with historically marginalized identitiesโ€”including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and neurodivergent individuals. This is a space where you donโ€™t have to explain, shrink, or hide. I strive to create an environment rooted in active allyship, and anti-oppressive, decolonized practice. Here, you are valued as you are, and your lived experience is honored. You can bring your full self into this space, and together, weโ€™ll nurture a sense of safety, belonging, and power.

  • When we grow up in or move through systems designed to diminish us, itโ€™s easy to lose connection with our worth. Radical self-love is a practice of returning to ourselves with gentleness, pride, and compassion.

In our work, we create space to unlearn harmful beliefs, process experiences of shame or invisibility, and reconnect with the truth that you are enough. This is a place where your voice matters, where you donโ€™t have to perform, and where loveโ€”real, honest, nourishing loveโ€”can be practiced intentionally. You get to take up space here and live more fully in your truth.

  • ACT helps us get clear on what really matters to us and explore ways to live more aligned with those values. Through this approach, weโ€™ll practice accepting whatโ€™s out of your control, while committing to actions that support the life you want to build. Weโ€™ll work together to make room for uncomfortable emotions and stay grounded in your values, even in the face of challenge. ACT is not about changing you, it's about empowering you to live more meaningfully and intentionally.

  • This is a space where you donโ€™t have to have it all figured out. Whether youโ€™re questioning aspects of your identity, exploring new parts of yourself, or unpacking the layers of who you've been told to be, therapy can be a place of discovery and affirmation. I support folks who are navigating gender, sexuality, cultural identity, the intersections of these identities, or simply want to feel more aligned with their true self. You donโ€™t have to fit into a box here. Together, weโ€™ll cultivate a space where you can get curious, feel safe to explore, and start living in fuller alignment with who you are.

  • Creativity is a powerful expression of who we areโ€”but for many, itโ€™s been stifled by fear, criticism, perfectionism, or systems that didnโ€™t affirm your artistic voice. If youโ€™re someone who longs to reclaim your creativity or own your identity as an artist, this space is for you. Weโ€™ll gently explore the stories that have kept you small and begin rewriting them together. Whether you're returning to your craft or just beginning to name yourself as a creative, you deserve to feel grounded in your artistic truth.

Being a creative also comes with unique emotional challengesโ€”like imposter syndrome, fear of being โ€œnot good enough,โ€ or pressure to constantly perform. In our work, weโ€™ll use rest, play, movement, and expressive arts to support your creative process. This is a space to soften perfectionism, reconnect with joy, and give yourself permission to be an artist on your own terms.

My approach and what a session with me looks like:

Our time together is centered on youโ€”your voice, your pace, and your unique needs. Each session is shaped collaboratively, guided by what feels supportive and meaningful in the moment. I take a person-centered approach that honors your autonomy, culture, and lived experience, while gently inviting exploration, creativity, and curiosity.

Our work together might look like doodling or writing to express your feelings, curating playlists or making music that speak to your mood, engaging in somatic practices to reconnect with your body, or simply holding space in conversation without pressure.

Weโ€™ll also explore tools to help build meaningful community, show up in relationships more authentically, and feel empowered in your self and with others.

Together, weโ€™ll explore what healing looks like for you, using tools that feel natural and meaningful.
